3. Wrong character choice = penalties (life loss, fear, curses)
4. Investigate carefully - each character needs to build investigation progress to identify entity
5. Manage Fear (10 = 1 life loss) and Lives (0 = death)
6. 5-minute timer per zone - failure kills everyone
7. Ouija boards can revive dead team members once
8. Beware of time curses that speed up the clock!
9. Flee attempts: 3 per game โข Later areas have severe penalties
10. Character switches: 5 per location โข Last area reduces to 4
